The Blue Mountains, known for its dramatic scenery, draws thousands of Ontarians each year to enjoy a host of recreational activities for all four seasons. The area has rugged sandstone tablelands, wilderness, valleys, waterfalls, rainforests, lookouts, canyons and so many wonderful walking trails. The town is famous for its ski hills in winter and its golf courses and beaches in the summertime. In close proximity you will find medical and homeopathic services, hospitals, shopping, galleries, wineries and cideries, fine dining, specialty food and grocery stores, libraries and the Thornbury Harbour.
